Another successful ISO audit

We’re pleased to report that a two-day LRQA curveillance audit against ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 earlier this month went extremely well, with no issues raised.

“The audit, which was also observed by a UKAS representative throughout reflects the attention we have paid to developing our systems and processes as well as how well our teams adhere to them,” explained Operations Manager Simon Moseley. “You only get this kind of result when your team is working in the right way every day of the year, not just when the auditors turn up.”

It was our usual LRQA 2day surveillance visit – and UKAS were in attendance  to observe Lloyd’s, not Sercon directly, however they commented that: “It was one of the strongest audits I’ve witnessed. It clearly demonstrated how strong the quality management system is every team member involved knew their roles and processes confidently, without fail. Everything observed in the audit was excellent, right down to the finer details.”

Quality processes are so much more than just an accreditation according to Simon: “The business simply wouldn’t run as smoothly and efficiently as it does without well-developed quality systems that allow our people to do such a good job every day – my thanks to everyone on the team for helping achieve this great result.”
