ASITA 2025
This year’s ASITA 2025 Conference (Advances in Stable Isotope Techniques and Applications ) is hosted by the CORE laboratory, led by Dr. Ryan Hladyniuk, in Port Aransas, Texas, from May 18th to 21st, 2025.
Garry Armstrong and Mark Gibson will be representing Sercon at the conference, whose focus is on methodology advancements, technical challenges, and novel applications of stable isotopes. This conference has a reputation for being an informal forum for discussing and solving technical challenges. We are looking forward to another great meeting!
Starting on the Sunday with a day of short courses focusing on EA & GC peripherals, basic isotope analysis, instrument operation & troubleshooting, data manipulation, and a workshop on gas regulators, the day will conclude with the popular icebreaker reception, sponsored this year by Sercon.
The main conference from Monday to Wednesday will have oral and poster presentations, and one keynote speaker, Dr. Simon Brandl. Instrument users and vendors are encouraged to participate and present their work related to new techniques or applications of stable isotopes.
Lab tours of the CORE laboratory lab will be arranged for Wednesday afternoon.
Looking forward to the trip to Texas, Garry is keen to learn about advancements among the ASITA community as well as looking forward to seeing old friends and new.
