Canadian Nuclear Laboratories
In June, Senior Field Service & Installation Engineer Dave Harris attended the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in Chalk River, Ontario, Canada for a service and maintenance visit.
The instrument was an old upgraded 2020 + Geo Dual inlet being used in their work to measure Hydrogen/deuterium concentration levels. This can then be used to make hydrogen fuel cells.
Dave commented: “It’s an interesting method as I don’t know of anyone else using our Geo to look at Hydrogen.”

As it’s a high security site, Dave wasn’t able to take photo’s of the equipment, so here’s his off duty shots as he explored the region, visiting Ottawa and its parliament building, taking a stroll across the river to Quebec and “Milling around the woods and doing pub quizzes.”
