Garry hits Bejing!

In a whistlestop trip last week, Sercon Director Garry Armstrong travelled to Techcomp’s HQ in Bejing for a short visit.

The trip has been on the cards ever since Sercon’s acquisition by Techcomp last month, to give Garry the opportunity to meet more of his new colleagues face to face. He was able to start a programme of training for Techcomp sales teams in the range of IRMS instruments and prep systems Sercon manufactures and maintains for its global customer base.

“This really was a flying visit,” Garry commented while waiting for his flight back to the UK on Thursday. “Importantly it’s the start of the international collaboration between Sercon and Techcomp’s other businesses around the world – building relationships between the many businesses and divisions who already operate under the Techcomp banner is an exciting first step in accessing some of the benefits of being part of something larger.”
