ISOECOL Preview
Garry Armstrong, Mark Gibson and Brian Hayden are very much looking forward to next months’ 14th International Conference on the Applications of Stable Isotope Techniques to Ecological Studies (ISOECOL) .
Held between October 12–16, 2026, ISOECOL 2026 is this year hosted by the University of Hong Kong.
Brian will present the poster ‘Individual variability in the isotopic composition of fish scales revealed by LA-IRMS’ (Brian Hayden, Montana Puscas, Russel Poole, Garry Armstrong) at the poster session, from 5.30pm – 7pm on Monday 12th October. This is sponsored by Sercon.
Dr Hayden is also presenting a pre-Conference Workshop: Understanding Stable Isotope Ecology, with capacity for 25 people, on 11th October (Click here to register) – ideal preparation for anyone looking to maximise the value of their experience at IsoEcol 2026 and to build confidence as a new user of stable isotope techniques.
“It’s promising to be an exciting event, packed with opportunities to meet friends old and new and get right up to date with the latest in the community through keynote addresses, oral presentations and poster sessions, as well as informal conversations,”, commented Garry – watch out for more information and photos from the Hong Kong trip in October!
