School Visit

Development Scientist Tom Hankinson visited his old school, Bury Grammar School, last week where he gave two talks.

The first was to Year 6 about what a scientist and engineer does.

The second was to Sixth Form students interested in a career in STEM,  where he talked about mass spectrometry and how the North West is something of a hub for development and manufacture for it, as well as about Tom’s experience of how to develop a career in science and engineering.
