Simon Moseley takes on Operations Management Role

Garry Armstrong, Director at Sercon, is delighted to have been able to promote Installation and Service Manager Simon Moseley to the new Operations Manager role in the Crewe-based business.

Simon has been running the service and engineering teams at Sercon for a number of years and has developed his team to provide a reliable and effective engineering team capable of supporting our global network of installations and sales agents.

Since the business was acquired by Techcomp in July this year, it has become clear that its planned growth trajectory has steepened. At the same time, Sercon’s founder, Mark O’Connor, exited the company. This has given Simon the opportunity to step up onto a more comprehensive role, managing and developing all aspects of our operations.

Garry commented on Simon’s new role: “This position allows Simon to lead our operations, logistics and production functions as well as his existing engineering teams, ensuring all activity is efficient and aligned with company goals.” He continued “I anticipate Simon will continue to build the operational side of the business in a way that supports and contributes to our overall strategy and growth plans at this exciting stage in Sercon’s existence.”

Simon’s role will also incorporate working closely with colleagues from across the Techcomp Europe organisation, including Isotopx, with whom we have recently launched our SIRIX collaboration, a new solution for clumped isotopes and small carbonates.
