Sercon’s agent in South Korea, Saram, is sponsoring the 20th International Symposium on Isotope Ecology And Environmental Sciences at Hanyang University in Erica, Korea.
The event runs from Jan 23rd – 24th at the Conference Hall at the University and is organised by Hanyang University (BK21Four) together with Lotte World Aquarium and Hokkaido University
Recent research outputs will be introduced, and novel applications of stable isotopes in various research fields discussed as the University celebrates the 20th anniversary of its laboratory of isotope ecology and environmental science (ISOE2 ), department of marine science and convergence engineering.
The symposium has six sessions focused on the isotope ecology and physiology, food web and environmental studies, paleoclimate and paleoecology as well as marine life and aquarium science.
Leading scientists in the fields of stable isotopes analytical methods and applications from six countries will be attending, and delegates can take part in over thirty events, including plenary talks and invited talks in the symposium. The Aquarium excursion is involved with free discussion before closing the symposium on the second day.
